Billionaire Femi Otedola Donates 1 Billion Naira Towards Eradicating Coronavirus In Nigeria

Second richest man in Nigeria. billionaire business mogul, Femi Otedola, has announced a donation of a sum of N1 billion towards the eradication of the deadly coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Femi Otedola shared this surprising news on his social media handles. With this development, Otedola joins the league of billionaires and corporate organizations who have shown their support towards assisting the government and the country at large to fight this epidemic.

Otedola disclosed this donation in a post on his social media accounts, Twitter and Instagram.

“I will be contributing 1 Billion Naira towards the eradication of COVID-19 across Nigeria. We must all do what we can to flatten the curve,” he posted.

Other billionaires such as Tony Elumelu, Aliko Dangote, Abdulsamad Rabiu, Herbert Wigwe, Segun Agbaje, and Jim Ovia have in recent times contributed to aid the efforts in curbing and combating the spread of the Coronavirus.

In cedis, the billionaire has dashed out Ghc14,878,953.90 to his government .
