Single Mother Makafui Josephine Needs Close To GHC 30,000 To Undergo BIH Surgery.

Single mother of 7 years old son Makafui Josephine, is a trained nurse yet to start working and serving the country, but due to sickness, she has been in the hospital almost every time battling with a diagnosis of Benign Intracranial Hypertension for the past 5 years now.

Makafui Josephine has been supervised by doctors through surgery at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

Benign Intracranial Hypertension (BIH) is a disease if the brain and is characterised by increase of pressure in the brain without any evidence of any brain pathology.

She has experienced minor surgeries on some part of her body.

She experience Cardiac surgery and Brain surgery in the past two years but keeps suffering from terrible pains and horrible symptoms almost every time.

She had a minor surgery(Lp) some few days ago but the neurogeons said, she will be having another major surgery pending in 3 weeks, thus if she’s able to get that much money for that.

Makafui Josephine needs close to GHC 30,000 in less than 3 weeks to be able to get her surgery done to keep her alive and healthy.

Makafui is currently in an anxious state on how to raise this huge sum of money to let this surgery happen for he chronic health.

She is currently home from the hospital without any medicines because she and her family couldn’t afford to buy the prescribed medicines she needed.
